Why fiberglass antenna is not suitable for indoor use

It is estimated that many people will notice that international brands such as Linksys or D-link generally only use 7db or 5db, and 2db antennas on their equipment, but they rarely see their 9db or higher gains on the market.

Indoor Omni-directional antennas appear. According to our general thinking, 7db antennas have fully met the requirements for indoor use. Antennas above 7db cannot give full play to their advantages due to their smaller angles. Indoor use may be counterproductive. Therefore, omnidirectional antennas above 9db must be used outdoors.

Why is it called an omnidirectional antenna, and there is also a vertical angle
