What is NB IoT repeat transmission?
Purpose: To obtain coverage gain, NB IoT has a 20dB gain compared with GSM, mainly from the repetitive transmission;
The number of repeated transmissions for each channel (maximum 128 times for uplink and 2048 times for downlink)
Gain algorithm: theoretically, the rate is halved by repeating the transmission – times, while the coverage is increased by 3dB; the maximum number of repeated transmissions for uplink is 128 times, and theoretically the gain is 20 dB.
Theoretically, the gain is 20dB, but actually, it is 16-18dB;
