Description
What is an N-type connector?
The N-Type Connector is a threaded, weatherproof, medium-size RF connector used to join coaxial cables. It was one of the first connectors capable of carrying microwave-frequency signals and was invented in the 1940s by Paul Neill of Bell Labs, after whom the connector was named.
The applicable frequency range is 0~11GHz, which is used for small and medium power coaxial cable connectors with a screw connection mechanism.
This is the most widely used connector in indoor distribution. It has good mechanical properties and can be used with most feeders.

N series connector
N series connectors are installed at both ends of the thick cable, and only transceivers with T-connectors can use this connector. N series barrel joints are used to connect two cable sections.
N series product is a kind of medium power connector with a threaded connection. It has the characteristics of high reliability, strong vibration resistance, excellent mechanical and electrical performance, etc.
It is widely used in radio equipment and instruments and ground transmitters under vibration and harsh environmental conditions. The system is connected to the radio frequency coaxial cable.
The difference between the type head and N-type head in mobile communication
1. DIN type connector
The applicable frequency range is 0~11GHz, which is generally used for the RF output port of macro base stations.
2. N-type connector
The applicable frequency range is 0~11GHz, which is used for small and medium power coaxial cable connectors with a screw connection mechanism.
This is the most widely used connector in indoor distribution. It has good mechanical properties and can be used with most feeders.
3. N-type standard head
DIN- stands for D-head
F- means female (K-female)
M- means male (J-male)
