Description
What is the F-Type Connector used for?
An F-Type Connector two-wire (signal and ground) coaxial cable connector is used to connect antennas and set-top boxes to TVs, VCRs, and DVDs. F connector cables typically carry analog NTSC TV signals, and the plug’s socket is easily identified by its threads. Plugs come threaded and unthreaded, both of which fit the threaded socket.
Many professional security installers like to connect this compression F connector to their RG59 cable, then screw on a BNC male-to-female F connector so that the RG59 can connect to CCTV cameras, DVRs, monitors, and other surveillance equipment that uses a BNC connection.
C&T RF Antennas Inc provides internal & external antennas with antenna radio frequencies such as NFC, 169MHz, 230MHz, 315MHz, 433MHz, 868MHz, 915MHz, VHF&UHF, Lora, NB-IoT, ADS-B, GSM, GNSS, GPRS, 1.2 GHz, 1.4 GHz, 1.8 GHz, Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz, 5.8 GHz, Cellular 2G, 3G, 3.5 GHz, 4G LTE, GPS, 5G NR, 6G, etc.
C&T RF Antennas Inc. provides RF antennae with Omni & Directional antenna types such as Dipole Antennas, Whip Antennas, Marine Antennas, Router Antennas, MIMO Antennas, Combo Antennas, PCB Antennas, FPC Antennas, Spring Antennas, Magnetic Antennas, Sector Antennas, Yagi Antennas, and Accessories, etc, for IoT & M2M industries.
A lot of installers agree that this solution is best because the CTRF-CN-F-Male-RG59 is easier to compress onto the coax cable than a BNC compression end. If you have any questions related to how this is done, please call or email us.
We also have complete CCTV cable installation kits available that include this type of connector.
