4G PCB Trace Antenna Applications
There are four types of antennas commonly used in mobile phones.
(1) PIFA antenna
That is the planar inverted F antenna. The basic composition of this antenna is a planar radiating element and a ground plane that is parallel to each other. On the radiating element, there is a grounded short-circuit sheet and a feed sheet positioned close to each other.
(2) Monopole deformable antenna
That is similar to the deformation of the external antenna, it has only one feeding contact shrapnel, and there can be various geometrical structures inside.
(3) PCB board antenna
This kind of antenna can also be considered as a deformation of a monopole antenna, but the antenna radiator is made on the PCB board. This kind of antenna can be external, which is spirally wound by PCB traces and vias, or it can be built-in and allow a variety of geometric structures.
(4) Ceramic dielectric antenna
That is the antenna is made of a ceramic material with a high dielectric constant, so as to achieve the purpose of reducing the size. Bluetooth antennas of mobile phones mostly adopt the form of ceramic dielectric antennas.
