The High Gain 4G LTE Antenna bulti-in PCB antenna CTRF-ANTENNA-PCB-7027-9510-IPEX embedded antenna is a PCB-based print circuit board antenna 6dBi antenna 4G LTE embedded antenna manufactured by C&T RF Antennas Inc for 3G 4G LTE devices.

The Embedded PCB 6dBi High Gain 4G LTE Antenna has a 95x10mm size, 5/7dBi high-gain antenna, 100mm or customized length RG 1.13 cable antenna extension, Ipex/U.FL/MHF connector, self-adhesive mount sticker for easy installation directly connects to the end-user 3G 4G LTE terminal device.

Idle mode paging

Paging is a process used to send paging messages to the UE in RRC idle mode or EMM registration. The paging message can be triggered by MME in the core network or eNB.

Paging with discontinuous reception

The paging message of the UE is carried on the resource block PDSCH indicated by the PDCCH. The paging indication on the PDCCH is a single fixed indicator (FFFE) called Paging-RNTI (P-RNTI). Different UE groups monitor different subframes of their paging messages.

The UE in idle mode listens to the PDCCH channel P-RNTI for receiving paging messages from the base station. The UE monitors the PDCCH only at certain specific UE paging times, i.e. only at specific subframes of specific radio frames. At other times, the UE can go to sleep mode to save battery power.

Paging frame (PF): A paging frame (PF) is a radio frame in which the UE is looking for a paging message. A paging frame can contain one or more paging moments.

Paging timing (PO): This is a subframe that is used to address the paging message for the UE on the PDCCH of possible P-RNTI transmission. For each UE, there is always only one paging timing in the DRX cycle.

To find out the PF (paging frame) and PO (paging occasion), the UE uses the Broadcast System Information SIB2 DRX parameter.
