The Dual Band 2.4 GHz 5GHz PCB Antenna CTRF-ANTENNA-PCB-2458-5207-IPEX is manufactured by C&T RF Antennas Inc with a dual-band wifi antenna that is optimized to operate in both WiFi bands 2400MHz and 5800GHz.

The Dual-Band 2.4 GHz 5GHz PCB Antenna is an Omni dipole antenna that radiates RF (radio frequency) signals in both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies. The dual-band WiFi dipole antenna radiates and receives signals at a 360-degree angle around it.

What are 2.4 GHz and 5GHz dual bands?

The primary difference between 2.4 and 5GHz bands is the range (coverage) and the bandwidth (speed) that these bands provide. When the function of spectrum navigation is turned on at the terminal (this is a function that can be turned on or off manually in general terminals, such as Wi-Fi or cell phones).

So if the terminal turns on spectrum navigation and the route turns on dual-band unification, then the terminal is connected to the 5GHz network by default.

3. Fixed selection

The above two are dynamic switching methods. At present, some terminals actually support the equipment fixed binding an AP’s BSSID for the association. Unless the BSSID of this AP is no longer there, it will not switch.
