The embedded PCB antenna High-performance 3G 4G LTE Antenna CTRF-ANTENNA-PCB-7027-9115-IPEX comes with 3G 4G LTE full-band frequency 700-960MHz, 1710-2700MHz PCB antenna manufactured by C&T RF Antennas Inc for 3G 4G LTE applications.

How to calculate the LTE peak data rate?
You may have heard many times before that the peak data rate of LTE is about 300Mbps. How are the numbers calculated? What is the assumption behind it? Let’s estimate it in a simple way. Assume 20 MHz channel bandwidth, normal CP, and 4×4 MIMO.
First, calculate the number of resource elements (RE) with a subframe of 20 MHz channel bandwidth: 12 subcarriers x 7 OFDMA symbols x 100 resource blocks x 2-time slots = 16,800 REs per subframe. each RE can carry modulation symbols.
Second, assuming 64 QAM modulation and no coding, one modulation symbol will carry 6 bits. The total bits in the subframe (1ms) over the 20MHz channel is 16800 modulation symbols x 6 bits/modulation symbol = 100800 bits.
So the data rate is 100800 bits / 1 ms = 100.8 Mbps.
Third, with 4×4 MIMO, the peak data rate rises to 100.8 Mbps x 4 = 403 Mbps.
Fourth, it is estimated that about 25% of the overhead, such as PDCCH, reference signal, synchronization signal, PBCH, and some coding.
We also know that there are different device capabilities, which are defined in 3GPP TS 36.306, Table 4.1-1 and 4.1-2.
For example, with cat2 devices, the supported peak data rate is about 50 Mbps at DL and about 25 Mbps at UL. All UE classes should support all channel bandwidths (1.4/3/5/10/15/20 MHz) in all duplex modes (FDD/TDD/H-FDD) in LTE.
Cat1~4 devices can support up to 2×2 MIMO in DL. Only cat5 devices can support 4×4 MIMO in UL-DL and 64QAM.
