Description
What is a 13.56 MHz RFID PCB Antenna NFC Antenna?
The 13.56 MHz RFID PCB Antenna NFC Antenna CTRF-ANTENNA-PCB-1356-6010-UFL120 antenna style is a 13.56 MHz RFID PCB Antenna suitable for RFID terminal devices such as handheld readers and has features of high performance, small size, and lower VSWR NFC Antenna manufactured by C&T RF Antennas Inc.
What are the common protocols of NFC technology?
NFC technology is compliant with ISO18092, and ISO21481 standards, and compatible with ISO14443, ISO15693, and other RF standards.
ISO 14443 and ISO 15693 both use 13.56MHz alternating signal as carrier frequency: ISO15693 read and write distance is longer, of course, this is also related to the shape of the antenna and transmitting power of the application system.
ISO14443 defines two types of protocols, TYPE A and TYPE B. Communication rate of 106kbits/s, their differences mainly lie in the modulation depth of the carrier and the bit encoding method.
Common NFC tag types and models
There are five types of NFC tags
NFC Tag Type-1
Compliant with ISO/IEC 14443A specification. It has the read-write capability and can be configured by the user to read-only mode. The memory size is from 93 bytes to 2 kilobytes, and the communication speed or data rate is 106 kilobits/second. No anti-collision mechanism is supported.
NFC Tag Type-2
Compliant with ISO/IEC 14443A specification. It has read/write capability and can be configured by the user to read-only mode. Memory sizes range from 48 bytes to 2 kilobytes, with a communication speed or data rate of 106 kilobits/second. The anti-collision mechanism is supported.
NFC Tag Type-3
Tag complies with ISO/IEC 18092 and JIS X 6319-4 standards with a data rate of 212 kbit/s or 424 kbit/s. Supports an anti-collision mechanism.
NFC Tag Type-4
Type-4 tags conform to ISO/IEC 14443 in both versions A and B. Type-4 tags contain 32 kilobytes of memory and support data rates of 106 kbit/s, 212 kbit/s, and 424 kbit/s, as well as anti-collision mechanisms.
NFC Tag Type-5
tag (NFC-v), which relies on the ISO/IEC 15693 standard, contains up to 8 kilobytes of memory and supports data rates of 26.48 kbit/s and an anti-collision mechanism.
